Passion On a personal note, I gained a keen interest in weddings because I was tired of seeing more failed marriages than successful ones in today’s society; and wondered what it would take to make a marriage last. I’m learning new things everyday, but the one thing that has been consistent is that marriage is work! You may wonder why I’m talking about marriage rather than planning and coordinating the wedding. Well, glad you asked? You see, making money is vital to my wellbeing so I cannot do your wedding for free however I can work alongside each couple to not only take the stress off the planning process but also share my passion and heart with them along the way. This allows both of you focus on preparing for a lifetime together and not just the wedding day you and your family spent all that money on! At this point, I’ll borrow a quote from my Pastor– Dr. Tony Evans: “salvation is free, but these props costs money”… my version: “making the choice to get married is free, but coordinating a flawless wedding is an investment” (LOL… you know you want to laugh!) I’m sure you’re wondering, so where did the events part come in. Glad you asked! Well, I quickly realized that my clients were calling me back to plan their Baby Shower, Anniversary Party, Holiday party and so on. And they also began referring friends and family members… so I decided it would be wise to incorporate that aspect into the grand scheme; AND make money too… I call that a win-win situation (wink)! So, that’s my secret! I love creating lifetime stress free memories. So I tease my clients by telling them to realize that if they hire me that simply means they intend to spend a lifetime together!
